On February 22, 2018 the delegation of the German Foundation for International Legal Cooperation headed by its director, Dr. Stefan Hülshörster, visited the National Center of Intellectual Property.

In the framework of the meeting, in which the Director General of the National Center of Intellectual Property Mr. Piotr Broukin and heads of structural units took part, eventual directions of cooperation on issues of mutual interest both for Belarus and German in the field of the legislation on industrial property were determined.

VISIT OF WIPO DEPUTY DIRECTOR GENERAL TO BELARUS Print

On January 29 and 30, 2018, Deputy Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) John Sandage undertook an official visit to Belarus. Mr. Sandage, who oversees the WIPO Patent and Technology Sector, participated in a number of meetings in order to learn about the experience of Belarus in the development of the national intellectual property system.

On December 15, 2017, in the framework of the visit to the Republic of Belarus of the Turkish delegation from official and business circles, the Chairman of the State Committee on Science and Technology of the Republic of Belarus Mr. Alexander Shumilin and the Minister of Science, Industry and Technology of the Republic of Turkey Dr. Faruk Ozlu signed the Memorandum of Understanding in the Field of Protection of Industrial Property between the National Center of Intellectual Property of the Republic of Belarus (NCIP) and the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TURKPATENT). The signing took place on the premises of the BelOMO Holding.
